Holding On

I put all my eggs in one basket

just as they advised against. 

But what is one to do when 

there's only one 

basket accessible? 

Should I have placed the proverbial

eggs in my pocket

or perhaps a hole? 

Yes, it dropped.

But cracked shells 

and brokenness

also occur when you hold on

too tight.
