Untitled

I had forgotten that happiness
smells a lot like sudden rain.
During droughts
one often forgets that feeling
of water dangling
at the end of fallen
curls. Such a shame that only dry
ground caught my smile.
There was no warning
to harvest the remaining
moments. Now all is brittle,
all is starving.
